Over 70 students from across Pennsylvanian sent in powerful artwork. Their posters highlighted the urgent need for fair education funding. Thank you to all who participated- the voters, judges, teachers and families, and especially our student artists!
Voters’ Choice Winners
The Voters’ Choice winners were determined by the top voted online voting in each grade category. Winners receive a $300 prize. Our Voters’ Choice winners are:
Judges’ Choice Winners
The Judges’ Choice winners were chose by 5 art teachers from 5 school districts across Pennsylvania. They were shown each poster without student name, school district, or any other information about the student. The judges used a rubric to calculate scores. Factors included in the scoring were: Originality of Graphics, Relevance of Graphics, Attractiveness, Mechanics, Originality of Message, Persuasiveness of Message, and Overall Impression. The first place winner will receive a $500 prize and the 2nd place winner will receive a $300 prize.
